Bank robbers are in town!!
- 8th February 2012
The staff her at Crocodile Events had to dodge road blocks or weave round police cordens to get to the office this week.
Less than 200 yards from the front door of our offices thieves drove a tractor into the bank and nicked 2 cash machines!!
Although we spend our days organising some of the wildest stag and hen weekends imaginable. We are based in a small town called Bingham near Nottingham. Bingham is one of those places where things like this do not happen, before this the last recorded crime was a dropped chip wrapper in 1834. (well not quite but it is hardly bank job central).
So, you can imagine the interest from the locals when the market square was turned into a scene from The Bill for a day or so.
I know we should not joke about these things but please have a look at the video which has been released to help catch the robbers. I think they may struggle to catch them if this is all they have. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-16924150
It has certainly bought a new meaning to “using the hole in the wall” at the bank!
