Bournemouth
Bournemouth is one of the most popular locations for stag and hen parties in theUK. With its great coastal location and lively nightlife this is hardly a surprise.
At Crocodile Events we offer a wide range of options for your stag and hen party. One of the most popular is an event that can involve a very good humoured battle of the sexes, It’s a knockout. This event uses the original props for Stuart Halls BBC game show and is simply hilarious.
If you are trying to give the stag a memorable send off and are looking for an event to “wow” everyone.Bournemouth’s answers are unsurprisingly found at sea. The most popular of these being Zap Cats, RIB’s and Powerboats. These events can be anything from a quick blast to get the pulse racing to a 6 hour powerboat experience where you can explore the coastline as you head off to the Isle of White and beyond.
The hen parties are slightly more sophisticated (well most of the time) and although often talking to the seas as well tend to go for events like RIB Treasure Hunts. Although the cost of this does limit the number of takers, it involves solving clues on land and at sea rather than just getting the Rib to zoom off as fast as possible. Surfing lessons are also a favourite although we do get the impression that this is as much to do with the hope of a sexy surf dude in shorts for the afternoon as anything else!
There is also the option of simply chilling on the beach with a picnic and a bottle of champagne.
We make absolutely no promises on this one (it is in England after all). However, with it position on the South Coast Bournemouth has a temperate climate significantly less rainfall than UK averages.
The water sports are not just popular with tourists. There are plenty of windsurfing centres and enthusiasts in the area. If you catch conditions right you will see windsurfers and kite surfers right the way along the coastline.
The nightlife in Bournemouth this buzzing all year round but as you can imagine in the summer months the atmosphere is one not to be missed. The feel good factor that being by the sea brings is evident amongst all the revellers in the Triangle and on St Peter’s Road. With a wide range of bars, clubs and restaurants there is a fantastic atmosphere for all to enjoy.
One of the biggest contradictions of all the talk of lively nightlife and adrenalin pumping activities is the popularity of Bournemouth with pensioners. It’s care homes are numerous so please make sure you double check that you have made it back to your hotel and are not about to wake up Doris and Vera in the middle of the night!
