Riga is blended together by a mix of medieval culture and modern flavours. Its the largest city within the baltic states and attracts millions of visitor each year. The weekends see a huge influx of European visitors, especially the stags but also with ever increasing hens. With an array of events to choose from, you wont be short of things to do in this city.

Free Falling Simulation, Olympic Bobsleigh, Bungee Jumping and Lazy Rafting are just some of the events available in Riga, but for those who are quite happy with their feet firmly on the ground and not falling out of the sky, there’s the good old favourites we all love.

For the grounded hens, our spa packages in Riga are a perfect way to relax whilst still enjoying its heritage and culture or maybe learning to make your own wine is more your style….or drinking it is!!

The snowmobile is great for both parties but is more popular with the stags or for those a little more daring, stay overnight in a disused Russian military prison. Only the brave will survive this one…..can you handle it?

There’s a good mix of hotels in Riga from basic hostels to 4/5* hotels. They’re all of a high standard and we will use our expert knowledge to advise you of the best options for your party.

The Old Town, an area noted for its bustling night life, is the most popular place to be at night. A mixture o sophisticated bars and clubs to the sticky floor of a dingy venue. Live music and strip clubs a plenty, there’s definately something for everyone in this city! Make sure you stay vigilant, some venues are still out to ‘rip off’ the tourists!

After centuries of being dominated, 1991 saw the Republic of Lativa becoming independant and standing tall with Riga as its captial. Since then, the city has tramsformed itself into a wonder of amazement and beauty. Restored buildings and array of culture has seen tourism rise and the vibrant city ever more popular especially since the accession into the EU in 2004 and the reduction in flight prices. Getting to Riga is fairly easy, the airport is only 8 miles from the city making the transfers reasonably priced. Flights are daily in and out of the UK.

The Yorkshire Dales offer a great option as a getaway from city life for those who want their last weekend of freedom to be one of either adventure or relaxation.

The natural landscape is a paradise for adrenalin junkies looking to go caving, white water rafting or even canyonning. However, it also creates a wonderfully scenic backdrop for those who simply want to walk the hills and settle into a country pub and have a few beers in front of the fire.

The Dales are very accessible within easy reach of cities such as Leeds, York and Manchester.

The area was designated as a National Park in 1954. So, the landscape and many species of wildlife have been protected. This sustainability work has been done professional and volunteer bodies in looking after the environment and habitat of the area.

Accommodation in this area is pretty varied and there is something to suit most budgets. Most of our groups tend to prefer bunkhouse, bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation.

As mentioned above the most popular activities in this region are very much based around the natural opportunities the landscape offers. We work with experienced and well qualified local instructors who will bring the perfect blend of fun, adrenalin and safety to your event.

Canoyonning is probably most popular activity with the stag parties. This takes about 3 hours and involves your group working your way down a river and all of the challenges that this throws at you. You will find yourselves swimming in white water, cliff jumping and navigating waterfalls on your way to an unforgettable weekend.

Thrill seeking hens are often found climbing in the Dales there are so many crags to choose from and your experienced instructors will make sure the challenge is set at just the right level. So, whether you are complete novices or experienced climbers there is a great event waiting for you.

In summary the Yorkshire Dales is a wonderful location for those who embrace the great outdoors and want to do something different. So, get out of the city and have a blast!!

As the capital of Spain and the 3rd biggest city in Europe it is hardly surprising there is so much going on in Madrid.

It is a wonderful place to celebrate your stag and hen weekend in style with a nightlife that is simply fantastic. The streets of Madrid truly come to life in the evening with live music venues, flamenco nights, tapas bars and funky modern venues you can party all night long.

If you have got any energy left after your night out there are some really cool events to do during the day. You can enjoy being big kids on the slides and in the pools at one of Europe’s biggest water parks. Or, take in the sights on a cycle tour of the city. If you want to take the typical British weekend formula to Madrid with you, activities such as karting, quads and paintball are also available.

The hens can also chill out with some pamper treatments or go full on and learbn the art of pole dancing. The opportunities Madrid offers are fantastic.

Madrid is famous across the world for it hugely successful football teams and in particular Real Madrid. Real Madrid are know for signing big name players and their Bernabéu Stadium has been called home by great players past and present. Including their current star player Cristiano Ronaldo who is under the guidance of manager Jose Mourinho.

The city still retains its character as the architecture has preserved the historical feel to the city streets. Many of it’s traditions are still in existence too. The most controversial to forign onlookers is the bull fighting.Madrid has the largest bullfighting arena in Spain and attracts crowds of 25,000 people. The Bullfighting season runs throughout the summer months with events taking place every Sunday and Public holiday between March and October. During certain festivals during the year daily events are held.

The bull fighting may be controversial in some quarters but one thing is for sure. If you choose to visit Madrid the nightlife will blow you away. Flights are widely available form UK airports as well so wherever you live it is not a difficult city to get to for a weekend break.

Dublin and stag and hen do go together like strawberries and cream so we do not to say too much about this one.

At one stage Dublin was virtually overrun with stag do’s in particular and made a conscious effort to distance itself from its tag as the stag and hen party capital.

But as the number of parties has now reduced to a more sensible number groups are welcomed in Dublin once again.

It is very easy to get to Dublin Airport from a large amount of UK airports and once you have landed you are only about 6 miles away from the city centre.

There is a lot to see and do in Dublin but you will probably find that the majority of your weekend will be spent partying hard in Temple Bar. This popular area of the city is on the banks of the River Liffey and comes alive after dark. Temple Bar is a magnet for revellers who travel from near and far to enjoy a night out in this bustling area of the city.

During the day you may want to explore more the city on a Treasure Hunt or escape to the countryside and try your hand at some outdoor activities such as orienteering or pony trekking.

We offer one activity which is truly unique. If you are prepared to travel the 40 miles out of the city centre you can enjoy being a farmers wife for the day. Activities include, cow milking, bog running, sheep racing and many more. If you are trying to surprise the Bride to be we are pretty sure she won’t see this one coming. This event may sound completely ridiculous but it is very popular and goes down a storm.

You may also want to head off the races. We can organise tickets at Leopardstown with fixtures throughout the year, the atmosphere among the Irish at the races is one not to be missed, a great day out. Just make sure you don’t drink so much Guinness that you cannot last the pace in the evening.

On the subject of Guinness, there is one activity that really should be sampled. We can arrange for you are your mates to have a tour of the Guinness factory. This is the most visited attraction inDublinso get your drinking boots on and see what all the fuss is about.

Temple Bar is fantastic fun but it is worth dragging yourself away at some stage during the weekend to check out what else Dublin has to offer. You will not be disappointed.

Just make sure you enjoy the craic!!!

Cork

Cork is visited by many every year in search of the “craic”. Although Irelands second largest city Cork has a verty relaxed atmosphere.

Famous for the Blarney Stone which is a block of bluestone built in the battlements of Blarney Castle. Legend has it that kissing the Blarney Stone with bless the kisser of the stone with the “gift of the gab”. A gift never to be underestimated if you are trying to chat up the locals on your stag or hen do. It may be located 5 miles out of Cork but could be a journey well worth making!!

At Crocodile events we offer a great range of daytime stag and hen activities in Cork The stag parties are often seeing going for a spot of kayaking or having a tipple or two on the Jameson’s Tasting Tour (when in Rome and all that!!).

The hen parties seem to be pretty keen on the art jam getaway for some reason. They claim it has nothing to with the nude model they spend the afternoon painting but we are yet to be convinced otherwise!!

In the evening Cork comes into its own. As Ireland’s second largest city it is big enough to offer all of the cars and clubs that you come to expect on a stag or hen party. However, the very nature of the place and the people create an atmosphere that is uniquely Cork.

Cork’s waterways are a key part of the city and you will find your self crossing plenty of bridges during your stay as the River Lea flows through the city in 2 channels. It is a City which is pretty easy to get around and you will be able to take in most of the sights on foot. You will see St. Finn Barre’s Cathedral, the National Monument and Crawfords Brewery as well as the English markets on a stroll aound the hilly streets of the city. That is if you can keep out of the famous pubs that long.

So jump on a cheap flight and enjoy Ireland.

Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain. Its cosmopolitan and vibrant way of life makes it a star destination for both stags and hens. The hustle and bustle of the city is mixed with the laid back and relaxed manor of the Spanish lifestyle.

A trip to Barcelona would not be complete without going to Camp Nou, follow in the footsteps of the players that have made history, such as Kubala, Cruyff, Maradona, Guardiola and Ronaldinho and feel the passion of FC Barcelona. Weather you opt for the hottest tickets in football or a tour around the stadium; you’ll be amazed by its enormity. A definite must for all football lovers!

As well as its sports, Barcelona has much more to offer. Afternoons on a catamaran or being hurled around the sea on a banana boat are just some of the popular water sports on offer. For those who like to keep their feet firmly on the ground, there’s a variety of events to choose from such as, cava tasting, horse riding in Montnegre Natural Park and cocktail making for the hens and events such as paintball and quads for the stags.

Barcelona’s nightlife is divided into areas which bring together similar styles and characteristics. Gràcia offers intimate and charming bars and restaurants and has become a multicultural melting pot. In the summer, Port Vell’s (the Old Harbour) terraces are the star attraction, while in winter people continue to enjoy the sea from the spacious bars and restaurants with their superb views. Port Olympic is a sophisticated party atmosphere by the sea but most popular with stags and hens is Eixample (Las Ramblas), the party hotspot for young people, groups, students and anyone else who can party all night long!

Most visitors stay in a near the Las Ramblas and in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. Hotels in Barcelona are plentiful but often get fully booked at weekends whilst apartments are popular for small groups. Hostels are the best option for cheaper places to stay. This central district is a fine base from where you can explore the city’s sights by day including Gaudi’s masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Familia Cathedral, and Parc Güell in the north.

Anyone who has ever visited York cannot help but want to visit again and again. York is so popular with stag and hen parties alike who love the atmosphere within the City Walls.

York thrives at the weekend with approximately 4 million tourists descending on the city from near and far each year. This makes the hotels in York very busy so we advise you book your party in York as early as possible. This is particularly the case on race weekends.

York Racecourse hosts some of the biggest race meetings in the UK. So, if you are keen to join the fun and have a punt on the horses then this is one not to be missed. We offer weekend breaks which incorporate overnight accommodation in York or Leeds, depending on hotel availability and what sort of night out you are looking for.

York boasts a wide range of accommodation from guest houses through to 4 star hotels. Crocodile Events has a good working relationship with many of the hotels in York allowing us to get sensibly priced central accommodation for your party.

Hen’s love to explore the city on treasure hunts or, party the night away on the River Ouse whilst enjoying a disco cruise.

The races is a very popular event for the stag parties but obviously this is restricted to certain weekends during the year. Outside of race weekends loads of stag parties take part in multi-activity days with many going for Quads, Clays and Archery.

When you walk the streets of York history is never far away. The Minster casts an impressive shadow over the city. However, do not miss the Shambles,York Castle or the Jorvik museum to name just a few or York’s attractions. The National Railway Museum was named in the top 10 museums in the world by the Sunday Times. Although this may not be high on your list for a stag or hen do it is certainly one to consider.

We love York at Crocodile Events, mainly because our customers love it too. It may not have an array of super clubs but there are pubs a plenty and the city just oozes charm. Enjoy!

Windsor is certainly the new up and coming destination for stags and hens. Dominated by beautiful countryside, the River Thames, historical towns and villages as well as unrivalled royal heritage, its no surprise why groups are choosing it for their hen party.

Oozing with class and sophistication, Windsor is not for those wanting to don the ‘L’ plates and veils instead of a fancy hat!

Hens love Windsor, an afternoon trip along the River Thames or Horse Riding in Great Windsor Park is great for seeing a little of what Windsor has to offer.

There are also plenty of stag events choose from for the guys, located in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. From Sumo Wrestling and Human Table Football to Raft Building and Water Skiing, all of these make up a fantastic weekend of events.

Windsor, the home of Windsor Castle and one of the official residencies of Her Majesty the Queen, is a popular tourist destination. Only 25 miles from London and easily accessible from the M4, this affluent town is becoming a hot destination for stags and hens.

The town is also the location of Legoland, built on the site of the former Windsor Safari Park. During construction, several tons of hippo excrement had to be removed from the enclosure used by the animals. Nice!

The Changing of the Guard is one of the highlights of a visit to Windsor. A band usually accompanies the Guards, so make sure you’re in a perfect position to see the excitement.

Located on the Welsh coast this town really knows how to party. A raucous night out it might be, but there is far more to Swansea than that.

In terms of outdoor activitiesSwanseais up there with the best of them. As well as being on the coast it is also within easy reach of the Brecon Beacons. This diversity makes this region a fantastic playground for adrenalin junkies.

Crocodile offers a wide range of activities with the best customer feedback being for coasteering. Not for the faint hearted this involves scrambling, swimming and cliff jumping. As you can imagine it is sure to get your pulse racing and will certainly sort the men from the boys. Coasteering is a thrilling event that will leave the whole party on a high for the rest of the weekend.

Swansea has many unique activities too, including a Castaway Day. This is popular with both stag and hen parties. You will enjoy learning new bushcraft skills and enjoy water activities too.

There is also great surf in the region and we have particularly good feedback on surfing lessons from the hens and stags. Qualified instructors will provide all the tuition you need to have a crack at riding the waves.

Historically Swansea’s sporting prowess has been demonstrated on the Rugby field. In recent times Swansea City Football Club have made it to the Premier League. They are unlikely to be challenging for the title but it has certainly put Swansea on the map.

On the tip ofSwanseaBayand only about 5 miles fromSwanseaitself you will find Mumbles. This small seaside resort charms all that visit it. Famous for its local shops and restaurants where you can enjoy freshly caught fish amongst other delights. You will also enjoy browsing the shops selling all sorts of local produce.

From Mumbles you can head off to the unspoilt beaches of the Gower Peninsular. Whether it an organised daytime event you are looking for or relaxation on the beaches of the Gower you will not be disappointed.

Then you can top off your night with a great big party as the city centre comes alive with the locals partying just as hard as you will be.

Reading may not be top of the list when it comes to your dream locations to visit, but it does make for a very good stag and hen location.

Within easy reach of London by car or by train and with a large amount of quality hotels available at the weekend it is certainly not a location to be ignored.

There are some really good activities to get your teeth into during the day. Possible the most unique is the Beer Keg racing. This activity is one of the few which is equally hilarious to watch and participate in. You and your mates will race these motorised beer kegs around a slalom course.. sounds ridiculous?? It is..

And if any of you stags or hens fancy getting into your swimsuits you can always have a go at Banana boats and Ringo’s. All of your group will get to have a go at this fantastic event and do not worry if it is a little chilly, wetsuits are provided for all of you.

Reading really does provide great value for money too, the hotels tend to be busier in the week and obviously our stags and hens travel at the weekend so we are able to offer some fantastic rates on really good quality accommodation.

Reading is the second largest place in the UK not classified as a city. Although, the council are trying to gain city status, with a decision pending in 2012.

Probably most famous for the Reading Festival which attracts the best music acts from around the world. In 2011 the main stage was headlined by My Chemical Romance, Muse and The Strokes With this the crowds come flocking and the Reading Festival is an event on the summer music festival calendar that should not be missed.

Reading Football Club based at the Madejski Stadium have been successful in recent years although currently in the Championship many in Reading still see them a Premier League Club. It is not just at the football club that John Madejski has made his mark. His fortune was made with Autotrader but his business interests now span media, restaurants and hotels.

The nightlife offers some great pubs, clubs and restaurants as well as comedy night and much more.

Oxford is most certainly a venue for the more discerning stag and hen groups. There is still a great night out but you are not likely to see many of the L-plates brigade out and about in Oxford.

We work with some fantastic hotels and a flourishing tourist industry we recommend that you plan ahead to ensure you get the best possible hotel options.

In the evening you will find a mix of traditional pubs and contemporary bars and restaurants and in the daytime you will find all sorts of events.

These range from enjoying the serenity of punting to the thrills and spills of white water rafting (although you do have to travel to get to this one). If you fancy sticking to dry land you can always have a go at Honda Pilots & Hovercraft Flying. These activities can be done on the same site and are a firm favourite with our customers. Feedback is consistently extremely positive so if you are looking for something to get your heart racing this is one to try. Be warned though, flying a hovercraft is much harder than it looks!

Without question Oxford is most famous for its University. Acclaimed globally, Oxford University attracts the cream of the crop and has been doing so for centuries.

It is hardly surprising the list of successful graduates is pretty impressive. The Alumni are able to boast 26 British Prime misters 47 Nobel Prize winners and 50 Olympic Gold medal winners. They must been doing something right!!

Admittedly, it is unlikely too much of this academic or sporting prowess will rub off on many of out stag or hen do’s that visit Oxford. But it is what makes the atmosphere of the city.

If the idea of a slightly more sophisticated celebration is attractive to you then Oxford may well be the ideal venue for you. There are lovely hotels some boasting leisure facilities so for those of you who really want to unwind before the wedding please check out our pamper options.

Nottingham is the home of Crocodile Events so we are bound to be a bit biased but Nottingham really has got the lot. A perfect central location means none of the group will have too far to travel. The city also boasts an enviable list of activity options.

Sherwood Forest is the backdrop for some fantastic outdoor activities such as Paintball, Quad Biking and High Wire Adventure. Nottingham offers all the old favourites from Karting to Clay Shooting and something different in the form of Hovercraft Flying, you can even train to fight like a knight.

For the hen parties that don’t want to get down and dirty in the forest there are some brilliant city centre activities. Including Cocktail Making, Treasure Hunts and Dance Classes (everything from Dirty Dancing to Bollywood is on offer).

Then there is the nightlife! The compact city centre is really easy to get around with a recent report listing 300+ licensed premises in 1 square mile of the city centre.

Nottingham is world famous as the home of Robin Hood and his merry men and although the Major Oak is now showing its age the 11th century castle once inhabited by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham is still going strong to this day. The bad guys are long gone though!!

Most people have heard the rumours of a women to men ratio of 7:1. This all started in the industrial revolution when Nottingham’s textile industry boomed with the star of the show being Nottingham Lace. This brought many ladies to work in the city. The Lace Market is still buzzing with life although not industry. It is now the home to many of Nottingham’s best bars, clubs and restaurants.

The 7:1 ratio rumour runs to this day fuelled by the large student nurse population training at Queens Medical Centre and Nottingham University.

One other must see part of Nottingham’s heritage is a statue of Brian Clough. Who took Nottingham Forest to European glory.

Oh and boys, if you are wondering if the rumours are true, the only way to find out is to come and see for yourselves.

Norwich is a new up and coming city for stags and hens. Together with history and the present day influences, this cultural city is becoming more and more popular.

Hotels are very few and far between compared to bigger cities but Norwich still has its fair share. We would suggest booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

There some great activities in Norwich, the stags love paintball in the glorious Norfolk countryside while the girls would rather relax and enjoy a pamper day or cocktail making. Whichever activities you decide on, you’ll be sure to have a fantastic time.

In medieval times, Norwich was one of the greatest cities in England, and today, as East Anglia’s capital city, it still is – offering a rare blend of historic interest and modern sophistication. Alongside the heritage are the famous, Norfolk Broads. Most popular for boating holidays, the Broads have 200km of lock-free navigable rivers, shallow lakes, woodlands, fens and grazing marshes, and its home to some of the rarest plants and wildlife in the UK.

One of the most recognizable characters from Norfolk is undoubtedly Bernard Matthews. Famous for his Turkeys and the unforgettable phrase ‘Bootiful’ the entrepreneur embraced the Turkey world and his brand still remains at the top.

Located on the North coast of Cornwall, Newquay is the counties favourite holiday destination. From stunning beaches and the most amazing coastal scenery, to great nightspots to party the night away, this vibrant town has something for everyone.

When it comes to accommodation in Newquay, there are many great places to stay including the relaxed atmosphere of the surf lodges. Be aware, all of the accommodation in Newquay requires you to stay at least 2 nights so if it’s a one night get away your after, Newquay isn’t the town for you!

Newquays effervescent nightlife is home to some great venues. From traditional pubs and cliff top bars to the beachside cafes, bars and nightclubs. Everything is within close proximity so you’ll never to be too far away from the next bar. Newquays nightclubs also play host to some of the countries finest DJ’s including those from BBC Radio 1.

Renowned for its surf, Newquay has some of the best watersports in the country. Stags and hens alike love the water based action, such as surfing lessons, coasteering and The Rat Run plus lots more.

For those who like to keep their feet firmly on the ground, the classic favourites such as karting, golf and paintball are also extremely popular for the stags and the odd cocktail or 2 works very well for hens with cocktail making on the beach!

The fantastic array of beaches around Newquay suits all different types of moods, abilities, tides and weather conditions.

The City of Newcastle Upon Tyneis stag and hen weekend heaven. The Geordies appetite for life is infectious and this creates a nightlife that is second to none. The atmosphere is only enhanced on Newcastle United match days when it seems the Toon Army are everywhere. The party starts way before kick off and lasts long into the evening.

Friday and Saturday nights are as legendary in these parts as Peter Beardsley, Kevin Keegan and Alan Shearer. So, whether you venture to the Big Market or down to the Quayside there is something for everyone.

Ant and Dec even own a bar in the Newcastle called the Lodge so you might even get some celebrity spotting done on your night out.

As you can imagine a night life like this is a magnet to partygoers and some fantastic activity centres have sprung up to make Newcastle an even more appealing venue for your party.

Stag favourites include Tank Driving, Mud Buggies and 4×4 driving. There is also a great Indoor Karting venue which never fails to impress. Another popular option for the guys is 5-a-side football where you can emulate the Geordie heroes from St James Park.

Our hen parties are often found being pampered or, enjoying a model experience before hitting the town. If you fancy keeping the girls together rather than heading out on a bar crawl there is a very popular Disco Cruise on theTyne.

Another great favourite is Newcastle race course although there are not race meeting all the time so please check our website for up to date fixture information.

Newcastle is a victim of its own success in some respects, hotels rooms are in hot demand and get snapped up very quickly. So, we advise you get your party booked early to ensure you get a city centre hotel.

If you do book late and need to stay slightly further out of the city centre you can always hop on the Metro. Allowing you to get aroundNewcastlewith ease on you’re your stag and hen do.

Nothing symbolises Newcastle more than its bridges. TheTyneBridgehas been casting its imposing presence over the city since 1928 and the Quayside has been enhanced in recent years by with the addition of theGatesheadMillenniumBridge. This has helped to join together Newcastle and Gateshead (separated only by the River Tyne). The area has been further enhanced by venues such as the Sage Gateshead Music Centre and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art.

Manchester

Famous the world over for football the legacy created by Manchester United is now being challenged by Manchester City so the fame of the city for football reasons is unlikely to diminish anytime soon.

However, there is far more to Manchester that just football. It is a thriving city with a diverse and exciting nightlife. There is shopping aplenty and much, much more.

The evening is when the true diversity of Manchester becomes evident as it seems to cater effortlessly for such different nights out. Whether you are looking to eat out in swanky restaurants and then head on to trendy wine bars or, enjoy some real ales in pubs full of character and characters. Manchester delivers. Manchester is also famous for its LGBT scene ever popular with the increasing number of groups we have celebrating their pink weddings but also with many hen parties who enjoyed the whole vibe.

In terms of daytime activities Manchester delivers once more. The hen parties tend to stay centrally and have a giggle either cocktail making or dust off their dancing shoes and have a go at one of the many dance classes available. These dance classes range from Can Can to Cheerleading and pretty much anything you can think off is catered for. Why not have a nosy at the options available to you in our Custom Hen section for Manchester.

The stag do’s often have a little more travelling to do (we can advise on how to minimise the disruption/cost of this). This is because although the bright lights of the city are the draw for the evening many of our groups are still keen to have a go at outdoor events such as karting and paintball in the daytime.

There are many hotels in Manchester so you are unlikely to have far to go from the pubs and clubs at the end of the night.

The bright lights ofLondonare a draw too strong for many parties. The sheer size of the city means that the recipe for your stag or hen weekend in London is often very different than in other smaller cities in the UK.

This is particularly the case for the stags as you will find the usual mix of adrenalin fuelled outdoor events are often simply too far to travel to. However, you will find great activities such as Indoor Paintball, Cyber Golf and some amazing Karting tracks that really make up for this.

As for the Hens, London is a world of opportunity. Whether you want Afternoon Tea at The Ritz, to head to Covent Garden for a Treasure Hunt, Enjoy a Disco Cruise on the Thames or take in a West End Show. The options are seemingly endless as you will see in our Build Your Own section for London.

The nightlife is often the thing that really gets the stags and hens excited about London. The main problem being there is simply so much choice it is difficult to know where to start Leicester Square, Soho, Piccadilly orCovent Gardenare the favourites so please just ask and we will point you in the right direction. Crocodile can organise anything from drinks in the Ice Bar to The Roller Disco. Adonis cabaret is a hit with the ladies and the stags have been known to make the occasional trip to Spearmint Rhino’s.

It is no surprise that the capital city is appealing to stags and hens, in fact London is ever popular with tourists from all over the world. With sights such as St Paul’s Cathedral,Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament it is hardly a surprise. The Royal Family still maintain their popularity and Buckingham Palace is still a focal point for national pomp and ceremony as seen at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

London’s landmarks are not restricted to buildings, there are many great parks to enjoy too. In Central London there is Green Park and St James’s Park and there is not far to travel to get to the world famous Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.

Our advice is that it is only worth the increased costs and travel if you are going to take in activities and sights which are unique to London. Otherwise you will do the same things cheaper in other locations.

London is a tremendous place to send your see out your single days with a bang so embrace the atmosphere and enjoy!

Liverpool, voted the capital of culture in 2008, is bursting with energy and charisma. A thriving atmosphere makes this city a great location for stags and hens. From the Albert Dock to Matthew Street, Liverpool has a phenomenal amount of bars, restaurants and clubs to choose from.

As with all cities, Liverpool does have its fair share of hotels but as its such a popular place for stags and hens, there isn’t enough to cope with the demand. Its essential you book early enough if Liverpool is where you want to spend your weekend.

True to form the Scousers love a good party but there’s also some great activity centres close by. The Half Day Bonanza’s works well for all stag, 3 excellent events to choose from the list, it’s an event well worth the money and for those on a tighter budget, the Pub Challenge always goes down well – well the drink does anyway!

Hens love the culture of Liverpool, taking in the sights via the Magical Mystery Tour; taking a journey through the lives, birthplaces, schools and hangouts of The Beatles, or the Yellow Duckmarine exploring the sights before the famous SPLASHDOWN into the Salthouse Dock.

Leedshas developed into one of the party capitals of the north over the years. You would be forgiven for questioning whether there are more locals or stag/hen parties out on the town come Saturday night.

There are loads of good quality hotels in the city centre so should you book your weekend early enough there are some fantastic places to stay.

Stag parties often worry about being able to get into venues as a large group. This is rarely an issue for sensibly (ish) behaved parties in Leeds.

As well a buzzing nightlife there are many great activities on offer too. There is a great indoor ski centre where you ski or toboggan on the slopes, life drawing classes or even fire engine tours to get the hen party started.

For the stag do’s the most popular activity being Go-Karting as the track is very central and makes for a quick transition from track to pub. Which, for some reason is pretty popular!

Much of the city that was once taken up by industry is now used for leisure and tourism with area such as Brewery Wharfand the Corn Exchange rivalling the Millennium Square areas of the city for Bars and restaurants.

This transition began in the 1970’s. When the pressure of foreign imports led to Leeds City Council to move away from traditional industries such as textiles and agricultural trading. The vision was a 24 hour European culture and visitors to the city today will surely agree they have been very successful in creating what could be argued as the ‘Capital of the North’.

As well as fantastic new developments such as the Light on the Headrow. All leading to a great mix of nightlife that can be experienced today

Lake District

For those who love Lakeland the call of the hills for one final weekend of freedom may be too strong to ignore. The fantastic landscape of the Lake District provides a wealth of opportunities.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend full of walking, tea shops and tranquillity. Or, adrenalin fuelled activities such as Gorge Scrambling or Abseiling to really get your pulse racing before settling down in the pub for a night of banter with your mates. The Lakes can offer the lot.

The Lake District is a special place, unique in the UK and many would argue globally. The scenery and abundance of wildlife created by the Lakes themselves truly gives this area a character all of its own.

These Lakes and waterways bring with them some great scope for water sports. At Crocodile Events we offer all sorts of different activities in the region with the most popular with the hen parties being the Pony Trekking and the Raft Building. We are able to offer these activities along with accommodation to suit your groups particular requirements be it a nice posh hotel, a self catering cottage or a bunk house.

The stag parties do tend to go for the slightly crazier of the activities. We get wonderful feedback on the George Scrambling and canyonning options but equally popular are thing like climbing and abseiling.

In Cumbria this North West National Park is surprisingly accessible with good rail links from most parts of the UK. It may not be the stereotypical stag or hen weekend full of city centre bars and lap dancing clubs but at Crocodile Events we are proud to offer a choice far all people to enjoy the weekend that suits them best and for many The Lake District is just that.

Whether you want to head to Kendal the South of the region or to Penrith in the North the scenery is always spectacular so get your friends up to the Lakes and explore this magical place.

Harrogate is one of Yorkshire’s most elegant destinations. Perfect for hen parties, it offers a tranquil setting in a picturesque environment. Its beauty and charm are the main reasons; it’s becoming an up and coming location for hens and stags alike.

Accommodation in Harrogate is varied for hens and stags, there’s the option of hotels, self catering apartments and county cottages. These do tend to be at the higher end of the price bracket so if your looking for a relatively cheaper weekend, Harrogate is not for you. Most of the accommodation is at least 3* upwards.

For the hens, there’s a wide range of centrally located activities to choose from including dance classes, chocolate making and cocktail making to name a few but if that’s not your idea of fun, there’s also a great variety of outdoor events such as Buggy Arena Games, Canyonning in the Dales and the G.I Jane activity.

The outdoor events are always popular with the stags especially with events such as the Mini Tanks, Rage Buggies and that old favourite classic, Paintball.

Thirsk races are also close by to Harrogate and always have a great afternoon of racing planned. It’s very popular with stags so if racing is for you, make you get something booked as early as possible.

This charming little town isn’t short of interesting attractions. Harrogate is renowned for its smart little tearooms and classy cafés spilling out onto the pavements. The celebrated Betty’s tearoom is a must if you’re visiting Harrogate. It was established in 1919 and queues are still forming today for their glorious afternoon teas.

Harrogate is certainly the tranquil weekend for any party wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives. Pure relaxation at The Turkish Baths and Health Spa, complete with steam rooms and pools is the perfect treat for anyone.

The traditional market town does have its bars and a nightclub but it’s not the city for a crazy weekend of drinking and wearing the ‘L’ plates!

Glasgow is a hugely under rated City to visit by us English folk, we seem to be guilty of thinking Edinburgh is the only city worth visiting in Scotland, how wrong we are.

Glasgow is actually the 3rd biggest city in the UK if measured by it’s population and has some wonderful nightlife.

As with all of Scotland when we put together packages in Glasgow we are able to offer some tremendous outdoor events. From the typically Scottish Mini Highland Games to the exhilarating adventure tubing, cliff jumping and canyonning.

So, whether you guys fancy tossing the caber or chucking yourself off a waterfall there is something for you all.

As for the ladies who prefer something slightly less energetic there are cocktail making lessons, life drawing classes which are just a giggle from start to finish.

As a venue Glasgow has loads to offer in the evening too. Things are simply too many pubs and clubs to name and at Crocodile Events we can offer you Q jumping entry to these so that your night out runs without a hitch.

If you fancy something for structured than a pub crawl then you cannot beat the party bus tours. Your driver will take you to some of the most happening venues in the city as party of a disco tour of the city. With the sound system pumping, you will love cruising the streets in style.

Glasgow’s sporting prowess is built around the 2 major football clubs. The Old Firm, Rangers and Celtic have dominated Scottish football throughout its history and this dominance shows no sign of abating. Rangers home ground Ibrox is based in the south of the city and Celtic Park is based in the East End. The rivalry between the two clubs in intense and matches between the two Glasgow sides are always major events.

In short Glasgow has so much to offer your stag and hen party so get on and book your weekend.

Edinburgh has always been a popular destination for stags and hens. Rippled with culture, excitement and charisma its easy to understand why many stags and hens choose this city for their ‘last night of freedom’.

Great events surrounding Edinburgh make it a poplar choice such as ‘Tossing the Caber’ in the Highland Games, experiencing the trill of the rapids in White water rafting or throwing yourself down a hill in a gigantic ball! All of these offer great reasons to head to Edinburgh.

As well as the high adrenaline fuelled events of the glorious Scottish countryside, there are also fantastic events set in the heart of the city. For the stags, the Indoor Karting track is only 5mins from the city boundary and the Urban Assault Course couldn’t be anymore central.

The hens love the classics such as cocktail making, dance classes and the Sex and the City twist to the Highland Games with a bit of eye candy thrown in too!

Edinburgh is a huge city with a great range of hotels to choose from but with this popularity, hotels and the self catering apartments will not take bookings for 1 night so if this is your city of choice, make sure you’re able to make a weekend out of it.

When it comes to the night life, you really are spoilt for choice. Bars and clubs everywhere make this city a must for all party goers.

Chester is one of the countries most beautiful cities. Bursting with culture and history, many of the Roman influences are still part of the city today. As well as its history and heritage, Chester is also a vibrant city full of bars, restaurants and shops. It also has a range of activities so you certainly wont be stuck for things to do.

The races are extremely popular in Chester, the race meetings do sell out so make you get your weekend booked very early.

Hotels in the city centre are limited compared to the major cities and the majority will only accept weekend bookings for a minimum of 2 nights. On race weekends, all bookings must be for 2 nights and prices are often higher. With its magificent countryside, some of the hotels are set slightly out of the city centre but these can often be the better option if your looking for a weekend of tranquility.

As well as the races, Chester also has a great range of activities such as, karting, quad biking, clay shooting and flying through the tops of the trees in a High Wire adventure. Its no wonder why Chester is a great for stags and hens alike.

For the hens, an extensive range of dance classes and spa packages are available along with cocktail making and just simply, lunch, in one of our carefully selected restaurants with all of your favourite girls. In some of the self catering cottages, you can also bring in a butler in the buff to serve you drinks and food or have a beautician come to you to get you all glammed up for your night on the town.

In the evening, Chester really does come to life. Jump on board the disco cruise for an evening of themed party nights. Every Saturday night between April and October sail down the river for the greatest party on water. Or if you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, take a tour down the mysterious and murky past of the Chester and experience a ghost tour before heading out to the bars and clubs.

Whatever you do whilst in Chester, you will certainly have an amazing weekend and you might even find a celebrity or 2. Keep your eyes peeled!!

The city of Cardiff lies on the on the south coast of Wales. The city is bursting with vibrancy, heritage and culture, not to mention its musical influences.

Becoming more and more popular over the last decade, Cardiff has seen a huge increase in the stag and hen market. Activity centres have grown and different events have become available to almost everyone.

Cardiff is within easy reach of amazing natural rivers and gorges which are perfect for white water rafting, canyonning and gorge scrambling.

Unsurprisingly, many events are based around the natural Welsh landscape. As well as taking advantage of the rivers and gorges there are some great activities in Cardiff Bay. So, if you fancy it your party can have a go at surfing or sailing too.

Many of you stags out there will be drawn to Cardiff because of its Rugby heritage. Please be aware that on International weekends hotel rooms are in really short supply and often become more expensive. So, please book as soon as you can if you would like any rugby dates. There is a lot more to sport in Cardiff than Rugby these days with Cardiff City Football Club becoming more successful. Cricket in Wales has also had a major boost with the Swalec Stadium recently gaining Test Match status. So, the England team will be playing more cricket there in the future.

You can check out the Millennium Stadium all year round as we offer stadium tours to our customers. This place is pretty impressive so well worth a look.

The nightlife in Cardiff is fantastic. The locals love a good night out and the city attracts revellers all year round so you can be assured a lively atmosphere.

We can arrange nightclub entry, party bus tours and much more so there is bound to be something to make for a memorable party.

Cardiff is making a real effort to bring more tourists into the city and it shows. You cannot go too far wrong with whatever you choose but please just ask us if you need any tips or pointers on what to do on you stag party in Cardiff.

Many people are surprised by the popularity of Cambridge as a stag and hen weekend destination. At Crocodile Events we like to think that this is proof of the fact that plenty of groups are looking for something slightly more sophisticated than the stereotypical stag and hen night.

You are unlikely to bump into hoards of hen brandishing “L” plates and stag do’s wandering with blow up dolls like you may do in some cities.

There is great fun to be had in Cambridge but you will not find a huge choice comedy nights, disco river cruises and male strip shows on our lists of things to do. Although, there is a lap dancing club for the stag parties (make sense of that ladies).

Hen parties love to mess about on the River Cam on a punting lesson. Or even take a relaxing tour of the college backs sipping champagne with a chauffeur doing the hard work on the punt for you. For those hens that want to be more active there is the option to get out of the city centre on a Charlies Angels event in the Cambridgeshire countryside.

The stags are less keen on the punting and often look to country pursuits such as Clay Pigeon Shooting or, Quad Biking. When the races are on in Newmarket it is a hugely popular choice with the stag parties.

Most of our groups tend to start their night out in Cambridge with a meal. We are able to offer a wide range of meals with anything from Spanish Tapas to Indian or Chinese options Cambridge is sure to have a meal option to suit you.

It is a good idea to pre-book your nightclub tickets (particularly, you stags) so, the venue know you are coming on your big night out. This will get you on the guest list and make you night much easier than splitting up and trying to get into clubs in dribs and drabs.

There is a good range of hotel accommodation in Cambridge although most is a walk or short taxi ride from the main nightspots. So, you can book anything from a guest house to a luxury hotel with leisure facilities. The choice is yours.

Cambridge is obviously most famous for it’s University. The early beginnings of the University can be traced back to 1209 so they have had plenty of time to get things right there. The University has certainly managed this and is regarded as one of the finest academic institutions in the world. As a tourist you can head off on college tours to get a feel for the life the academics have lived over the years. This is unlikely to be top of the list of even the most sophisticated of stag parties so maybe better save for another visit.

At Crocodile Events we love Bristol, with some of staff choosing this as the location for our stag do’s. The best deals in Bristol are on multi-activity days. You can have the convenience of only having to visit one activity centre but get to try 3 or 4 activities together, all at very reasonable prices.

These include things like Rage Buggies, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Quad Biking and one of the funniest stag and hen events, Blindfold 4×4 Driving.

Bristol wouldn’t be Bristol without favourites like Cider Tasting and the West Country Games which is a simply hilarious mix of events including Wurzel Knockout, the Tractor Tyre Rolling Triumph, Vicky Pollard Handbags, Welly Wanging and Drunk Pub Skittles.

The relaxed fun loving lifestyle of the West Country is also reflected strongly in the city centre when the nightlife gets going. Whether you hit Baldwin Street, take a pub crawl down the White ladies Road or chill out in the harbour there is something for everyone. The fun loving atmosphere is summed up nowhere better than the Bier Keller… go on give it a try!

Bristol’s history is far more than Worzel Gummage and Aunt Sally (Google them if you are too young). The city developed initially as a port handling trade and travellers from Ireland and in later years North America.

The wealth generated was not wasted, as some chap called Isambard Kingdom Brunel happened to like the place. He spent much of his life creating architectural features of the city which still impress to this day. The most famous of all being Clifton Suspension Bridge.

However, as with much with maritime history you have to take the rough with the smooth and it has a chequered past when it comes to Pirates. Watch out descendants of Long John Silver could still be wandering the streets.

Famous these days for it’s music and film industries with successes such as Nick Parkes creations, Wallace and Grommit the city is going from strength to strength.

So, what better way to say cheerio to you bachelor lifestyle than head for Bristol?

Stag and hen parties inBrightoncannot be missed. They are match made in heaven. Only an hour fromLondonby train and a thriving scene including many seafront bars, nightclubs and restaurants only add to the appeal of Brighton.

If the reputation of Brighton as a party town wasn’t enough, the fact that there are 300 pubs should give you an idea. That would be one hell of a pub crawl.

Famously known as “the gay capital of England” Brighton comes alive in August for Gay Pride weekend. Be warned though, hotel rooms are virtually impossible to come by that weekend. So, if you do want to take in the atmosphere of this weekend please book early and be prepared for some increased accommodation costs.

To stag and hen parties the success of Brighton as a location can be a bit of a problem. Hotels are so busy they insist on parties staying for at least two nights. So, if you were planning on a quick stag night on Saturday then Brighton is not for you. Our advice is to embrace this and make a real weekend of it, let your hair down and enjoy the seaside.

Whether you want to have a wander around The Lanes, have a flutter at the Arcades or a stroll along the pier there is something for everyone in Brighton. Should it take you’re your fancy you can even head down to the nudist beach just south of Kemp Town!! We don’t know of any takers on this one yet.

As well as all of this Crocodile Events are able to offer a host of activities to set the weekend off to a flying start. The stags are often found Windsurfing or Kayaking. The hens options are hugely varied from Chocolate Making to Life Drawing as well as a participating in many other events that can be seen on the build your own section of the website.

Brighton has many landmarks probably most notably the two piers. Although the West Pier remains closed after years awaiting renovation and suffering 2 major fires there are ambition plans to create an observation tower. This has been designed by the creators of the London Eye. The Palace Pier still pulls in the crowds.

No guide to Brighton would be complete without a mention of the Royal Pavilion. The opulent seaside palace of George IVis well worth a visit. However, it may be better not to pop in part way through the stag do as you may not be all that welcome….in the nicest possible way of course.

Bournemouth is one of the most popular locations for stag and hen parties in theUK. With its great coastal location and lively nightlife this is hardly a surprise.

At Crocodile Events we offer a wide range of options for your stag and hen party. One of the most popular is an event that can involve a very good humoured battle of the sexes, It’s a knockout. This event uses the original props for Stuart Halls BBC game show and is simply hilarious.

If you are trying to give the stag a memorable send off and are looking for an event to “wow” everyone.Bournemouth’s answers are unsurprisingly found at sea. The most popular of these being Zap Cats, RIB’s and Powerboats. These events can be anything from a quick blast to get the pulse racing to a 6 hour powerboat experience where you can explore the coastline as you head off to the Isle of White and beyond.

The hen parties are slightly more sophisticated (well most of the time) and although often talking to the seas as well tend to go for events like RIB Treasure Hunts. Although the cost of this does limit the number of takers, it involves solving clues on land and at sea rather than just getting the Rib to zoom off as fast as possible. Surfing lessons are also a favourite although we do get the impression that this is as much to do with the hope of a sexy surf dude in shorts for the afternoon as anything else!

There is also the option of simply chilling on the beach with a picnic and a bottle of champagne.

We make absolutely no promises on this one (it is in England after all). However, with it position on the South Coast Bournemouth has a temperate climate significantly less rainfall than UK averages.

The water sports are not just popular with tourists. There are plenty of windsurfing centres and enthusiasts in the area. If you catch conditions right you will see windsurfers and kite surfers right the way along the coastline.

The nightlife in Bournemouth this buzzing all year round but as you can imagine in the summer months the atmosphere is one not to be missed. The feel good factor that being by the sea brings is evident amongst all the revellers in the Triangle and on St Peter’s Road. With a wide range of bars, clubs and restaurants there is a fantastic atmosphere for all to enjoy.

One of the biggest contradictions of all the talk of lively nightlife and adrenalin pumping activities is the popularity of Bournemouth with pensioners. It’s care homes are numerous so please make sure you double check that you have made it back to your hotel and are not about to wake up Doris and Vera in the middle of the night!

Need we say any more….Blackpool is famous for fun, fun and more fun.

Although perhaps not the jewel in Lancashire’s crown that it once was Blackpool has remained largely unchanged in its focus and as still very much a tourist town. The appeal as a family resort may have dwindled as more Brits have headed of on cheaper package holidays abroad.

However, the appeal is as strong as ever for stag and hen nights looking for a good rowdy weekend of debauchery. With strip clubs a plenty for both the stags and hens Blackpool embraces the stereotypical stag and hen night and certainly delivers.

There are some great daytime events for the stags enjoy too. Including, Air Rifles Shooting and Outdoor Survival Skills. For the hen parties there are some great events including Foreplay Lessons and Burlesque Dance Classes.

With highlights including the Pleasure Beach, The Blackpool Tower, The Illuminations or the Winter Gardens, Blackpool has something for everyone. All of which draw visitors in their millions.

The Blackpool Pleasure beach is a undoubtedly a success story, with Britain’s tallest roller coaster and even a 4 star hotel it is one of the most visited amusement parks in the world.

Be warned if you plan to visit Blackpool when the illuminations are unveiled each year though as this is when the town really makes a mockery of its reputation as being in decline. Hotel rooms are hard to come by and the promenades are packaged with revellers. This is hardly surprising as the scale of the illuminations is immense. They go on for miles and use literally millions of bulbs.

We cannot talk about Blackpool without mentioning the Tower. Modelled on the Eiffel Tower has been standing proudly on the seafront since 1894.

Blackpool had a real boost with the success of the football club in recent years making it all the way to the Premier League under the guidance of the entertaining Ian Holloway.

Blackpool is a bit like marmite, you love it or hate it. But, be assured that if you do love it you will have an absolute ball of a stag or hen party!

Well known as the UK’s second largest city, Birmingham has a great location for stag and hen do’s. Being located so centrally and having excellent transport links makes Birmingham a prime location to consider for your party.

It is often the case that members of your party will have to travel from all parts to get together for you final weekend of freedom.

Birmingham will give your event that big city feel but without the headaches travelling around London can bring. It is much easier to get out into the Warwickshire countryside for outdoor events. Stag favourites such as Superstox Race Days, Paintballing and Clay Pigeon Shooting are all available. Popular outdoor hen party events are Pony Trekking, Treasure Hunts and Quad Biking.

Birmingham city centre has so much to offer as well. With Dance Classes taking inspiration from all over the world and Life Drawing classes really getting the hen parties off to a great start. The guys love the Urban Assault Course and the central location of the indoor karting venues is always a hit with the stag parties!

The Brummies are spoilt for choice when it comes to hitting the shops too, with swanky shopping centres such as the Mailbox and The Bullring you can always take in some retail therapy to try and remove any hangovers you may have!

Obviously, when looking at a stag or hen weekend a major consideration is your big night out.Birmingham certainly does fail to deliver on that front. Broad Street is a magnet for party goers in the evening and that is not all. If you want something slightly less hectic you can always try the Arcadian. This is an attractive piazza offering alfresco dining experiences. The Arcadian is located very close to China Town.

All of this choice is hardly surprising for a city with over 1 million inhabitants! Brummies as they are better known have some high class sport to choose from. In football terms the city is divided by 2 major clubs Aston Villa and Birmingham City. However football is by no means the whole story of sport in Birmingham, with Warwickshire County Cricket Club being based in the city. Warwickshire play their home games at Edgbaston which has seen redevelopments over recent years to make it one of the finest cricket arenas in the world.

Along with all of this there are some great hotels in Birmingham so overall this is a great recipe for a memorable stag or hen party.

Belfast is growing more and more popular with stag and hen parties. Although the number of groups flying over is yet to rival other UK cities such as Edinburgh,Cardiff and Dublin the numbers are growing all the time.

The increase in groups heading off to Belfast has obviously come about since the end of The Troubles. Although there is no denying the city is still tainted by its past in tourist terms. This is changing all the time.

The people of Belfast make for a wonderful weekend. The Belfast folk love the Craic and have an infectious fun loving attitude.

In terms of activities on offer in the daytime, there is a huge choice. Nearby activities range from Canadian Canoeing, Crate Stack Climbing, JCB Driving and Raft Building.

If you want to stay in the city centre you can book a Dance Class or try you hand at Cocktail Making, you can even drink the Cocktails you make this one really starts the hen party off with a bang.

It has never been easier to get to Belfast with flights available from the majority of UK airports.

Belfast has a colourful history and is famous for its ship building industry. The most famous of all the ships to come out of the Belfast Docks was the Titanic in 1911.

In modern times there is a growing list of sporting heroes emerging from Belfast. The head of this is certainly George Best, who was even given the honour of having the airport named after him.

Bath has seen an increase in popularity in recent years particularly with hen parties. This has been largely driven by the reopening of the Thermae Bath Spa in 2006.

The obvious stresses organising a wedding can add to our already hectic lives often leads brides to be to want to chill out on their hen party. The elegant surroundings of a City such as Bath only help the girls to give their hen a send off in style.

Another very popular event in Bath is Punting, although more associated with cities like Cambridge and Oxford there is little more fun than messing about on the river on a summers day.

For the lads there are plenty of stag do activities in Bath. Including, Abseiling, Canoeing and the infamous West Country Games which is hilarious from start to finish.

Bath also boasts a tremendous racecourse to be enjoyed by stag and hen parties alike. There is also the option to travel over to Bristol if you want a bit of variety in your weekend as the 2 cities are not too far apart.

Accommodation is in high demand simply because the city is in high demand for tourists of all types, not just stag and hen parties. It is the organised parties out there that will get the best accommodation. The vast majority of Bath’s hotels will not accept bookings on a 1 night only basis at the weekend. so it is worth remembering that you will probably need to book a 2 night stay or more.

At the foot of the Avon Valley Bath’s Thermal spa are heated by geothermal springs which push the heater water to the surface. The spring water starts its life as rain water in the Mendips and ends up miles under ground before geothermal pressure pushes it to the surface and it appears as warm springs. Simple?? Maybe not bit it makes for a great spa so lets not think too much about how and why and just enjoy!!

Bath is not just famous for the Spa. It is equally renowned for the fantastic architecture. This is personified by nothing better than the Royal Crescentand plentiful Georgian facades. Although the 60’5 and 70’s saw some less than sympathetic development bath has retained its status as a World Heritage Site.

In sporting terms Bath is most famous for its Rugby Club. Home games are played at the recreation ground.Bath play in the Aviva Premiership and are a real force to be reckoned with in European Rugby Union.
