1. Work closely with the stag: this may sound obvious, but ultimately it's his party, so find out what he wants to do. He will also know more about the other people that are invited and this is important in helping you choose location and activities. You may think Newquay is a great idea, but what if most people are coming from Newcastle? Will a nightclub be OK for his Dad and Uncle Trevor?
2. Set a date and a budget early: the easiest way to make sure you can get everyone there is to set a date fairly early with a budget that they can all manage. This way, you're in before that summer holiday is booked, and you've found out in plenty of time if anyone can't make it because it's half-term and they needs to look after the kids!
