“Overall we (all) really enjoyed the day. The hotel was exactly what you expect for a 2 star hotel, it was a 2 star hotel! No frills but when you only need a room for one night to sleep in it was more than adequate. The activities were good fun, apart from (in all honesty!) the Human Table Football which was really disappointing in comparison to the others. It’s advertised on the website as being in a hall, it isn’t, it’s in the middle of a field with all the rest of the activities. We expected to be in teams and do a round robin of playing each other (as a couple of the guy’s had played before) but all you got was 10 minutes playing one team. What would have been better was to have 5 minute games (which is more than enough) and play several teams (there was enough people) as there was more than enough time to do this, we were waiting about 20/25 minutes between activities (not that this was a big issue). Clay’s / Blind 4X4 and the Quad’s were excellent fun though (Quad’s the best). Spearmint’s was a good night, encompassed with multiple bars and a few sherbets it was good fun. Big thanks to C/E for sorting and putting up with the multiple goal-post moving right up until about a week before, your patience was much appreciated. From a value for money point of view it was very good. I did a lot of looking about and this was by far the best. Thanks again for organising a groovy weekend, much fun had by all.
